Our Founder

Hi! I’m Shakira and yes, my hips don't lie.

I’m a dreamer, a mother, a nurse, and a creative that decided to explore all sides of my passions. With the focus being “Love.”  I have always been drawn to the creative arts but ultimately went down a more practical but nurturing path with a career in nursing. Even at my job, I would express my creative side through humor and always playing my favorite soulful R&B.

I enjoy being a nurse and bringing shimmers of light in challenging times but working during COVID. I started to need an outlet from the sadness, and despair that was all around me for my own mental health. I needed an escape and found peace, happiness and felt reinspired by my former creative outlets of making soap, candles, handmade vessels, and listening to my favorite soul music. It became a therapy for me and developed into a true passion.

Love Haus was created as a symbolic reigniting of my dreams, and I hope it will be the same for you.  Love Haus is dedicated to the hardworking mom, wife, friend, and dreamer that feels like they are lost within the day-to-day shuffle of life.

Love Haus wants you to know that like a candle fire that is slowly starting to burn out you can once again shine bright again!!! How do I know? Because I have been where you are! Love Haus wants you to feel peace, feel reinspired and reignite that light in you. Every day is a new day to explore new sides of who you are.
